Musculoskeletal Radiology by TRG
Content to TRG fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists are available 7 days a week for consultation in cutting-edge musculoskeletal imaging State-of the art equipment includes fluoroscopy, multislice CT scanners, as well as 3T and 1.5T MRI scanners. Nuclear medicine examinations and bone densitometry are also available.
Imaging options:
- MRI and CT of the musculoskeletal system
- MRI arthrography (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle)
- Pain management procedures, including double diagnostic injections with MR arthrography
- Joint aspirations and injections for diagnostic and therapuetic purposes
- Image guided biopsies of the musculoskeletal system for infection or neoplasm
- Whole body MRI for myeloma or metastatic disease
- Hip prothesis imaging
- Sports hernia imaging
- Muscle/tendon injury, stress fracture, shin splint evaluation
- High resolution imaging of the athlete
- FAI (femoral acetabular impingement) evaluation
- Infection imaging for osteomyelitis and abcess
- Tumor/soft tissue mass imaging/characterization
- Inflammatory arthropathy evaluation
